GTX 275 SLI or Single GTS 285

I have a problem on choosing the GPU for me up coming gaming rig. Originally i was planning on getting GTX 275 SLI as i read reviews that it is almost or ever better than a single GTX 295. However im not about to spend too much money on the GTC 295, But i am willing to spend the money on getting one GTX 285 first then get a second one to SLI if i needed it. Now the problem is this. GTX 275 SLI right away? Or getting one GTX 285 first then SLI it? Which of the option is a better sounds and less expensive way? Or you got something better to offer ^_^?

I will say get the GTX 275 SLI if you need to enjoy your games with many fps.

id say get 1 gtx275 first, see the results.
if you feel that it isnt enough, buy another 275 and sli it.

i found that single 275 is more than enough, id probably sli mine on december with newer titles that needs more power.

I was just told my GTX 260 C216 is a pile of junk compared to a GTX285. Which is plain ignorance. I originally bought one card then just recently bought another to put in SLI. Make sure your PSU can supply enough power for all of the components.

What are you system specs and what resolution do you game at?
