Hey, I'm in need of some quick assistance.
Sometime in the future I want to build an SLI system with GTX 275 or perhaps something even stronger like the GTX 285 SLI. Ether way after searching around I can't seem to figure out which PSU I would need. I have the ANTEC - TRUEPOWER QUATTRO 1000 at home but not sure if it will be enough. I mean I'm not sure what the whole deal with all the amps is and what not. Could someone please shed some light as to whether this is enough or not, and would Thermaltake EVO_Blue W0308RU 750W or CORSAIR 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply 100 be better choices? Thanks a lot for any help.
I'm also probably going to be OCing the cards too.
P.S I know I didn't list all the specific specs, but just imagine an AMD system with one of them quad cores. Sorry for using peonline.ca as a reference, but I work for them so I get good deals on hardware which is why I'm probably going to be buying from them.
Thanks again, I await you replies.

EDIT: Bleh while I'm here would it be more worth while to consider getting ATI cards instead?

Solution
If you're gonna overclock, 750W might not be enough with 2 GTX 285. I'd go with the 1000W Antec just to be safe. ATI cards will draw way less power.
Does it have enough amps or what ever? After reading some reviews some say that it has a bad habit of failing..
So the 1000w antec should be able to run GTX 285 SLI or ATI in crossfire, and give me room to overclock?
Now which cards should I go for? Would someone recommend something else over GTX 275/285 SLI? Perhaps some other ATI choice? And with that being said, I have no clue which motherboard to go for. I'll be getting an AMD processor for sure, OCing that too!
Any suggestions?
Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply bro, see I'm looking for something cheaper. I mean HD5870 costs around the 400s. I'm looking for a solution such as getting one card and then running another of the same later on. This is why I want to get a more powerful PSU just to avoid having to upgrade both the addition of GPU and a PSU. Does anyone have any good suggestions for AM2+/AM3 SLI capable boards? Or any other info on the whole ATI/nVidia situation? What would be a more reasonable buy right now? A pair of nvidia cards or ati cards? In terms of money spent and performance.
Thanks one more time for your reply?

That card was an ES. The final product won't be 13.5 inches.

Yeah, I know, but the thought of putting something that big in a case is mind bottling.
Hopefully they'll keep it close to 11.5" inches when it comes out.

That's a sick board. Do you think it will overclock good? Now what would be some good ram to pair up with this baby? Sorry for turning this into a whole system thread. Thanks!
