GTX 295 not working

Hey guys. I just installed a GTX 295 in my PC but i'm only getting a black screen. The Graphics Card is second-hand and it's the first time I used it.

Do you know what the problem is and how to fix it? These are my stats:

Foxconn A88GMV
AMD Athlon (tm) II X3 460 Processor 3.40 GHz
8GB of RAM DDR3
Asus GTX 295
( C: ) Samsung HD503HI
Thermaltake Berlin 630W

I don't think a 630W power supply will be enough to run a 295.. it's a 289W card.
Also, did you check before buying if the card worked or not?

No, but I'm quite sure it was valid.

Ill see if the power supply might be the problem. Is there any way of checking?

BTW, I just put the card in. I didn't do anything else, was I supposed to?
