Hello, forumers.

PLot:
Gtx 295 having two GPU's, like a SLI solution.

Dilemma :

Now we all know that in the case of a SLI solution, applications that do not support SLI, will only use one of the cards, right?

Then what's with the gtx 295's two gpu chips ? All those apps that cannot use multi gpu solution, will use only ONE chip of the gtx 295 ??

The GtX 295 is the equivalent to Ati's X2 cards. They both have two cores on one PCI-E slot attached to your computer.

With Nvidia, there are two pcb boards, with a core on each, but the sli is internal, therefore the computer sees the card as a single card and not as two. That is why the card can be used on any mother board and not only on sli enabled ones.

Except for the single board cards. [:mousemonkey]
