So as of yesterday i got my friend's hand-me-down pc..
i7 920 @3.8GHz
6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 PC3-12800
Dynex generic 600W PSU
eVGA GTx 295
my old pc was a generic dell xps 410 with a 550Ti in it, which i did not experience this issue with -
the issue.. easiest way would be to upload some photos to explain this but essentially
I hae an old 21" viore monitor, native resolution of 1360x768 but supports 1920x1080 with a little work
basically what i would have to do is open up a browser, go into my menu, and go to the VGA settings - manually town down the "clock" and then hit auto adjust. it would dial the ratio back and show a proper image of 1920x1080.
I can still do this, but i have a problem now - whenever i start a game or tab out of it, the screen flickers, and it loses the ratio again, and i have to redo it.. and some games are downright temperamental like BF3 where the monitor will lose it's Sh-t and turn off.
i know it's a piece of crap and i need to upgrade, but is there a workaround for this until i do?
