GTX 460 768mb question

I read that NVidia will be discontinuing their GTX 460 768mb card. Since I have only been following news about hardware stuff recently, I have a few questions regarding this. When the card is discontinued, does that mean that it will not be sold anymore? What does it mean when a card is discontinued?

The card being discontinued means that the manufacturers will not make more of it. That does not necessarily mean that the cards will not be sold anymore, because the sellers still want to sell the cards they already had in stock.

it probably might be discontinued cause of GTX 560 non-Ti, which is a 460 on a new chip, it'll be sold, but i think not produced
