GTX 460 768mb SLI question

Right now I'm running a (factory-clocked) EVGA GTX 460 768mb card, and I'd like to SLI it.

The problem is, the same card is tougher to find (it's on Ebay, but often for $200+, much more than it's worth).

What are my SLI options? Can I add a second, non-EVGA equivalent card? Can I use 1gb GTX 460's?

If you guys feel it's worth it to save up for a better (single) card, I'd definitely take the advice into consideration.

Reference: I can get a Zotac GTX 460 768mb for $115, or any brand of GTX 560 1gb for around $150-160.

You don't need to use the same brand to SLI, just the same card.
What resolution are you using? The 768mb card isn't really ideal for SLI as you'll have a ton of processing power while the memory is limited. I would probably Ebay your current card and look at something like a GTX 560 Ti.

Yeah, save up and grab a GTX 560 ti. It has 1gb RAM which will help in modern games.

I'm running at 1920x1080p. I guess I'll try to hoc my card and find a new one.

My budget's $270 max. I was thinking about an overclocked EVGA GTX 570. Any suggestions?

GTX 570s start at about $50 more than you are saying you want to spend.

Go for the 560 TI, the 570 is faster, but at the cost of more power, heat and size. And yes you can SLI with any other 768MB 460, brand does not matter. SLI will throttle down to match the lowest clocked card, which be circumvented by OC the second card to match your current one. MIS, Gigabyte and Asus all made great versions of the 768 460, all with great coolers (good for being a top card).
