Hello guys, would appreciate some help. This could some rather newbie but I have this doubt from a long time ago already.
I have a Geforce GTX 460 graphics card. From official specifications I got this:

Thermal and Power Specs:
104 CMaximum GPU Tempurature (in C)
160 WMaximum Graphics Card Power (W)
450 WMinimum System Power Requirement (W)
6-pin & 6-pinSupplementary Power Connectors

In the other hand, my PSU has: 2 connectors PCIE 6 pins + 2 connectors PCI 6+2 pins
Both cables are the same just like shown in the next picture:

So my question is:
I have installed already one of those cables inside from PSU to gpu with the 6 pins connector but would like to know if I have to use the other connector in the same cable 6+2 pins in order to give the proper supply for my gpu. Or should I connect the other cable and connect his 6 pin in order to give enough supply for her.

Don't know which of them should give her proper supply because the 6pin connector it says above "PCI Express" and 6+2 pin connector it says "SLI Ready" so never knew if this would interfiere.

I'm sorry for being too noob with those questions guys, but would really appreciate if you can iluminate me on this. Thanks !!

Solution
fill all the holes lol

one 6 pin connector + another 6 pin with 2 Additional pins just hanging to the side without plugging in

Basically it's fool proof (sorta). Don't worry too much about it, you got a decent PSU?

(i havent seen your particular gpu so it's a little iffy info on my end)
I think I understand.. although not too clear.

I thought RX460 didn't need additional power, just a note, maybe the lower end ones dont.... Which RX460 do you have?

If yours does then Alright no prob. Basically just use one end of the wire harness. generally the cards use either 6pins or 8pins depending on their Teir. The other end of wire harness that's the double, as you said says SLI, that just means that it can "handle" a second graphics card, you can use either of those wire plugs since they run off the same power.

Okay pal here we go. I have this gtx
460: https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/gtx460

The same just like it says on that site it says Power Input: 6pin x 2

From what I have been reading each 6pin connector brings 75W and specifications saying it requires 2 connectors I assume it brings 150W. So this is where I came to the question if would work if I use the same cable where it has 1 connector 6pin and other connector 6+2 pin so then would bring the wattage required. Or should I use the other cable using his 6pin connector too. Thanks for helping.
