I've got the Gigabyte GTX 460 1 GB (comes with a mild OC), and it ran pretty well the first time I booted it. I installed the latest driver, however I noticed that when the HDMI adapter and wire is pointed downwards with gravity I get red and green lines on my screen and sometimes there's no reception at all, I'm guessing it doesn't get a solid connection, and that the port is loose or something. So I did a few different things to isolate the problem: I changed the pcie slot to no resolve, I used 3 separate HDMI wires (one was a monster cable) so I know it's not a problem with the cable. I do not have a monitor with a DVI port so I couldn't test that out, however I know the monitor's HDMI connection is fine because I've used it with my xbox 360. However I did notice when I point the adapter upwards that solved the problem, and I would receive perfect reception.

Anyways, I would like to know if anyone else has this problem with any GTX 460 card, or is it just a defective card? I do plan on exchanging it. But if other people have problems with it, I may get a different video card altogether.
