So, I've recently purchased the GTX 460 SE 1 gb (Superclocked). I know enough about it so that I bought it, but I want to know a bit more.

Is there any real performance difference between the 460 SE 1 gb and the 460 768 mb/1 gb?

Is it possible for me to SLI a 460 SE and a regular 460?

Thanks!

Solution
There are some differences between the models that do impact performance in a real way. Nothing huge, but I'd say the 460 1gb leads the other 2 models by somewhere around 10% real world performance.

The 460 SE has fewer cuda cores and 460 768mb has less memory bandwidth (and less memory, obviously). It's a pick your poison situation with the 460 768mb being better for lower resolution screens and the 460 se a better choice when the full 1gb of memory will be used.

Thanks for the help. I guess it was an ok choice for me, then. 1 gb of memory could possibly come in handy when I upgrade my 1440x900 screen to 1080p.

It's a good card and I almost bought one myself, I took the full 460 1gb since my monitor res is 2048X1152 and though I needed the extra performance.

Whether it was a good buy or not depends on how much you bought it for vs what else you could have bought with the same amount of money.

Well, at the time I bought it, it was $110 after mail in rebate, so I guess I can justify my purchase. Thanks for the great response! :)
