GTX 480 BF3 1080p Low Settings FPS?

Hello,

Does anyone know what a GTX 480 might yeild in terms of FPS in BF3 with all the lowest settings at 1080p?

I currently have a 650ti and I have the opportunity to get a 480 for a good price... just wondering if it would be an upgrade or not...

A gtx 480 would be a huge improvement over a single 650ti but I honestly would opt for a gtx 660 ti or another 650ti in sli for power consumption and heat since the 480s are notorious for getting up to 98 celious when gaming

Would it tolerate that heat though? Like would it damage it?

Also thanks for the info... any idea what FPS I would be seeing with low settings at 1080p in BF3 MP?

It depends on what your CPU is, if it is an I5-2400 or I7-960 or higher than you should see great performance like maybe 40-50 fps full settings in multiplayer.
