GTX 550 ti 2gb vs GTX 750 1gb

Hello,
I currently own a GTX 550 ti with 2gb of ram as well as a GTX 750 (not ti) with 1gb of ram. I know the 750 is a lot more efficient but which performs better? Will the gig less of ram make a big difference?

750 - as much as i love extra vram especially in future games, i can't really recommend a 550 ti as its slow compared the 750

VRAM isn't an End-All Be-All stat when it comes to GPU, the GPU core often have a bigger impact than VRAM size.

750 would be my pick.

if you want something faster but is in the same price range look at the r7 265 / hd 7850 2gb version / hd 7870 / r9 270 / gtx 650 ti boost 2gb version

if you really would go for the gtx 750 ti get the palit stormx oc 2gb version it is slightly overclocked and does not need a 6 pin power connector unlike the 750 ti FTW version or the direct cu II.
