gtx 550ti fit problem in hp dc7800 mini tower

i just bought second hand hp dc7800 tower pc .. i had gtx 550 ti already but now it seems that it won't fit in the slot due to dual barrel .. any help would be appreciable .. some one suggested me to remove the dual barrel and fit it without barrel but i think in trying to fit i might break anything so if it is true 100% than i will try it. please help me.
