GTX 550ti lag like crazy

I bought a GTX550ti last week because I want to upgrade y GT730. When I plugged into my pc it is very laggy even on War Thunder low setting and this happened to other games too.
I have tried reseat the graphics card, reinstall latest driver but still no luck. Plz help

Intel Core I5 4460
PSU Coolermaster 550W
Ram 8GB

try using older drivers from 2016/2017.. gtx550 is only slighty faster than a gt730 gddr5...

Yes Becuase both these Graphics Card are using the really Old Architecture. GT730 is the worst graphics Card that you can game with as it is using DDR3 and not GDDR5 which the modern graphics card uses. I recommend a 750 ti to play war thunder at 1080p at Medium Settings to reach a playable experience. Your GTx 550 ti has probably been used a lot or have been overclock dangerously causing performance issues. In general both theses cards are really old and unable to play any games at a decent settings especially the GT730 which is a office pc display card not a gaming card.
Therefore I recommend the GT1030 and the GTX 750 ti 2GB
