Im trying to install the drivers for my newly installed gtx 560 ti but i cant find them/ cant tell which ones which. when i go to nvidia.com/drivers and search manually, there's so many options that i cant tell which ones the right one. when i click on auto-detect it says java require but even after installing java on my desktop it still ask for it.

On a side note this is my first time installing a GPU into a desktop but when i go to display adapter properties is says Chip type nvidia but the adapter string says "Microsoft basic display adapter". IS that normal? Is it supposed to say that before i download the drivers?

Help Please!!

I don't quite understand why you are having problems but ...

1. Go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

2. Drop Down 1 = GeForce

3. Drop Down 2 = 500 series (560 starts w/ a 5 would be 500 serie

4. Drop Down 3 = Pick your OS

5. Drop Down 4 = Pick your language

6. Hit Search

7. Click the download button to install version 385.41 (395.25 MB)

Did you reboot after installing Java ?

GeForce Experience will download your driver sand pre-select optimum game settings

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/
