Gtx 560ti vs 560ti oem version

hi guys, i have recently found out that my gtx 560 ti is actually the oem version and not the retail version. i am considering sending in a letter to dell, the ppl i bought my comp from, to make amendments to my graphics card. but before i do so, i would like to find out if there is really much of a difference between the 2 graphics cards.

the gtx 560 ti has a core clock of 822 mhz vs the oem of 722mhz
shader of 1645mhz vs the oem of 1464mhz
cuda cores of 384 vs 352

but the oem has a 25% faster ram of 1.25gb vs the retail of 1gb
and the memory interface is also 25% faster with 320bit vs the retail of only 256bit.

that is what i know so far from the research i have been doing. anyone has any other thoughts? is the retail version really better? and if so by how much?

The lower CUDA core count and slower core clock will probably get you lower performance than the standard 560Ti, you'd probably get performance closer to a 560 non Ti in most situations. The higher memory bandwidth is not going to offset that under most circumstances. Are you sure that the OEM card is a 560Ti, and not a plain 560?

You can try running benchmark utilities, or run some games and compare the framerates you get to available benchmarks if you want to see what the performance difference actually is, but performance is almost certainly going to be less than that of a standard 560Ti. I'm not sure if you can overclock an OEM card or not. Knowing the OEMs probably not, but if you can, you probably could bump your OEM card up to the performance level of a regular 560Ti.

Those specs are abysmally low for a 560ti, even the standard 560 has a core clock starting at 810mhz. The texture fill rate between the two is fairly significant as well, the oem being listed as 32.2 (billion/sec),and the standard Ti as 52.5, a fairly hefty 61% difference.
nVidia also lists the max power for the oem as 40w higher, at 210w.
I'd be emailing Dell for a replacement

so the areas that the oem version is better in does not make it as good as the normal ti? test fill rate and clock speed matters more in gaming isit?

does it mean that the higher the max power, the more you can overclock?
