Hello everyone. I would like to know if its possible for me to run and play games with Geforce GTX 570 video card without having power problems or burning anything.

My specs are:
Intel Core 2 quad q6600 @ 2,4 GHz,
4 gb ram (1,3k Mhz I think)
Asus P5W64 WS PRO motherboard
550W HEC Win PSU
For now I'm running GTX 550TI with no problems

And also my PSU doesnt have 8 pin connector which is needed but I think I could replace with adapter.

Thanks. Another question. About that 8 pin connector. The gtx570 card needs one 6 pin and one 8 pin connectors. If I dont have the 8 pin, is it ok to simply use 6 to 8 or 4 to 8 pin adapter ?
