GTX 570 VS Radeon HD 7850

Hello,
I can't decide which card to choose im gonna either choose the GTX 570 (1.25gb) or the Radeon HD 7850 (2gb)

There is only 20$ diffrence. The GTX seems to be better in most games but also takes 2x amount of electricity, where the Radeon HD 7850 is a little slower in some games but is much less power requiring

says 7850 is better for future proofing. I just got my 7850 card from amazon for 149.99, most of the 470 cards were a bit pricier, but i got the 1gd5 instead of the 2gd5

If you can afford it just get the 7870, its a little more but is faster than both of the cards you've mentioned.

You pretty much nailed it. Both cards should be pretty similar in performance depending on model/clocks. But the 7850 is going to use a lot less power.

Similar performance, the 7850 is cheaper, it has more VRAM, it uses less power, it's newer and thus supports newer standards (DX 11.1 etc.)... I don't see how the GTX 570 can compete.

I wont be overclocking my card just for your information its what comes out best stock and will be best to play games like BF3 Crysis 2-3 World of Warcraft Planetside 2 ect. But the Radeon HD 7850 2gb is 20$ MORE than the GTX 570 dont know if this helped

The Radeon HD 7850 2GB is cheaper than the GTX 570 in most places.
