GTX 580 2k Monitor Issue

I recently connected gtx580 to my 2k monitor with hdmi, but windows default shows 2560x1080 is te max resolution. I use nvidia panel to create custom resolution 2560x1440, then it worked but everything looks fuzzy and not as sharp as I expected. So is it cossible to connect gpu with monitor by two hdmi cables to increase bandwith in order to get crisp textures??

1) 2560x1440 isnt 2k
2) Youll need to use Dual Link DVI on a GTX 580 to get 2560x1440.

no you can not use 2 hdmi cables you need to use a dual link dvi cable
