While playing CSGO, I decoded to max out anti aliasing and a couple of other settings. After only minutes of play, my computer would stutter, freeze up and force me to reboot. After trying to play the game several other times with my settings at all low, the errors would continue to occur.
Couple days later I decided to get back into battlefield 4 . I played several matches without any problems. A day later, I tried to play again and I would get an error that said "nvidia display driver has crashed and recovered". Before it appeared my screen stuttered and BF4 would go blank. Sometimes my monitor would shut off but my system was still running.
When I tried to resolve the problem by attempting to reinstall and update my nvidia drivers, my computer display would shut off and not come back on or sometimes restart. If I was lucky enough I would get the " advanced options Burton and I could attempt to fix the problem with an knstallation disc. (I had windows 8.1) .
I tried all of the possible fixes from the menu: system restore, system reset, system wipe, etc... When I tried system restore it would work, however attempting to reinstall the nvidia drivers would
Repeat the problems I was trying to rid of. Safe mode caused my computer to think my max resolution was 1280x1024 and put black bars around my screen.
Out of desperation I finally decided to wipe my c drive and reinstall 8.1 but my problems repeated with attempting to install the nvidia drivers. I tried Windows 7 and the Windows 10 technical preview, it would not work as well.
Please, tell me what is wrong with my graphics card and computer
