Gtx 580 or pci 3.0???

okk...ive enoguh budget to buy a gtx 580.......and now ive heard tht keplars are cmmng in the next year but they will require pci 3.0.......and for tht ill need to upgrade my whole system again like mobo and cpu for the pci 3.0.......

now wat i wanna ask is that wether shuld i get the gtx 580 now ....OR buy a gtx 560 ti and save the rest of the mney for keplars......but wats makng me concrnd is tht how much performance drop will b there if i used a keplar on a pci 2.0 board as i currently hav sandy bridge setup and i aint upgradng again for like a year or so...... ....any ideas...??
 
no matter what you can never "future proof". 5 minutes after you buy the latest hardware it's already obsolete...... and it truly isn't worth the price. A while back I was opining about not needing USB3.0. Everybody treated that opinion like it was the plague. here we are how far past the release and it's still insignificant. pci-e 3.0..... blah. don't think pci-e 2.0 has reached it's potential yet has it ? if you want the 580 get it. best card you can buy right now. 5 years from now usb 3.0 and pci-e 3.0 might be the norm and manufacturers will be implementing because there's a real need. by then the 580 will be useless.
