heya guys

just got a question i'm not a noob at hardware just not sure about this

so people say put the 2nd GPU to 3rd slot to make the cooling more effective

but issue i think is would it not run at 16x/4x ?

or does it scale to 8x 8x no matter what PCIE slot you use?

i have a Asrock P67 Fatality Professional Motherboard

Solution
from your motherboard link
dual at x8 (PCIE2) / x8 (PCIE4);

as soon as you install a 2nd graphics card slot 2 will drop back to x8
So yes with both cards you will run x8 x8

its reccomended for your mobo to use Slot 2 & 4 for this setup.

i believe this is the 2 BLACK slots on your board
