There is no card in the 600 series that competes with the GTX 780 (unless you count the Titan)
GTX 700 series cards have GPU Boost 2 instead of 1.
That means that the cards' boost clocks are also dependent on temperature.
If you have a GTX 680 however, you can flash it into a GTX 770 because they are basicly the same card with the exception of the memory chips.
(The ones in the GTX 770 are slightly faster)
Feature wise both series are the same.
GTX 600 series cards are more power efficient because they run at lower stock clock speeds, but overclock just as high.
