GTX 650 and 4k ?

Yeah, there is no chance, I'm sorry. 4K resolution requires at least 4GB of VRAM, and sometimes that's not even enough. The GTX 650 isn't a good card, even in comparison to my R7 260X. The 260X can struggle with 1080p on some things, like BF3.

You'll need a much more powerful card, getting into R9 290 territory to approach 4K resolution.

I see, I dont need 4k, just was curious.

You said its not a good card, but I replaced my old HD 4850 with this one, is it fine? Or better get GTX 750? Assuming that I have old mobo (nvidia mcp73pv) and old CPU(q8200) and pci-e v 1. I mean will I see a difference between my current 650 and 750 on this PC system?

haha, nope, the monitor is 1280x1024. but it plays 1080p fine, why not 4k? The connection.....is not HDMI, maybe thats the problem?
