i want to get GTX 650 and my question is can it work on my system?

i heard from a lot of people that GTX 650 ran battlefield 3 on ultra so can it work with battlefield 4 in the future on high or med ?

Solution
At a resolution of 1366x768, a GTX650Ti should handle BF3 quite well. What brand and model is your "400W" PSU? If it is a cheap generic, do NOT get a GTX650Ti, unless the PSU has a PCIe power connector. If it doesn't, it's label may be a lie, and it won't have the chops to power that card. If that is the case, your best bet is either an 800MHz HD7750 or the Asus low-power GTX650, which do not need a PCIe power connection. Those cards would be very poor at 1920x1080, but at only 1366x768, should play on medium or better.
It will work, but I guarantee it won't play bf3 on ultra. The 650 is a low end card, and likely will not play bf4 well on high settings. Bf4 isn't out yet, but I expect that the 650 will only be able to run it well on low settings (medium at best) with no filters.

Look, no card in your price range is going to max out bf3 in your price range. Your best best is the 650ti.

I don't know where you would find a 480 for $140(perhaps ebay), but it is doubtful your psu could handle it.

Yes, amd video cards will work with an intel processor/mobo. Unfortunately there still isn't a card that will give you playable frames on bf3 at ultra for either amd or nvidia.
