Hello toms hardware forum,this is my second thread,and for the question,my GPU only have 1024 mb Vram but if i disable the limit and goes to 1644Mb what Would happen and where the rest of It comes from

The memory clock is NOT the VRAM it's basically the speed of the memory.

NOPE. You cannot increase the discrete GPU's VRAM. This is hardware-agnostic, and cannot be changed.

Just like with APUs a system can use main RAM as a substitute of real Vram it's much slower though so it's not used a lot outside of iGPUs.

The gpus vram would be exceeded and the extra textures would be pushed to your slow system ram. This would cause major stuttering.

You shouldnt exceed the vram. Although, gta is a little inaccurate about gou vram usage.
