GTX 650 TI Boost 1GB vs 2GB

I play games @ 1600x900 or less
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k
Ram: 2x4GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance CL9

1. Which is the best choice for the price?

2. Is there any big difference between GTX 650 TI boost 1GB and 2GB at this resolution?

3. Is GTX 750 TI a good alternative to these graphics cards at this resolution?

4. I cant spend more, but does it worth to wait for more budget and get a GTX 660 or 660 TI for gaming at this resolution? (If there is a big difference)

thanks for your answers

Solution
I would expect the 2 gb 650 ti boost to be 15-20 percent faster than 1 gb 650ti. Availability of new cards is a problem with the gtx 650 ti boost as I can't seem to find virtually any new 2 gb cards. With that being, r7 265 performs just as good at $150 usd. If you want an Nvidia card, gtx 750ti will be more than good enough at 900p, but not as good 650ti boost or r7 265. Its probably not worth buying a gtx 660/ti for that resolution, these cards are meant for the greater 1080p resolution.

How much are they?

The 2gb will be better than the 1gb. It will handle 1080p and up easier.

The 750ti is a slightly better performer and only costs $130. And its newer and has better resale value and uses less power.

For the price of a 660ti ($400), you could get a Gigabyte R9 290.

2gb 650 ti boost actually performs better in games than the 750 ti.

Dont forget, the 660 Ti still has the crippled 192bit bus, but with the same GPU power as the 760 roughly, so would actually perform pretty much as well as a 760 at lower resolutions, for much less money at used prices.

I have to get a Nvidia card as I need it for my works.
So you mean that 2GB version is a better choice and GTX 750 TI is near the same as GTX 650 TI boost 2GB and it's enough for that resolution.
AM I Right?

How much 660 does differ from 660 TI in performance?
Is there any benchmarks for gaming at different resolutions?

Some benchmarks to compare, just choose the GPUs to compare

A lot more reliable than them!

GPUboss is a joke, and videocardbenchmark is totally synthetic and doesnt represent actual game benchmarks.

You are right, but it's benchmarks are based on the Full HD (1920x1080) and I need the benchmarks at 1600x900

RobCrezz is right, those are not reliable sites for benchmarking cards. I usually stick to Anadtech, this site, and techpowerup for all benchmarking needs.

Link?

Links?

So what can you use instead?

There's a lot of stuff in there not performance related. It doesn't cover gtx 7 series. Or Radeon R7 and R9.

There's weakness in all comparisons.

I like gpu boss because for OP's its straight to the point eg 6.9 is better than 6.4.

I like videocard benchmark because it give s a continuous spectrum. Plus prices - which comes in handy quite often.

The link I posted specifically had the 2013 GPUs, theres a 2014 list as well.

Just browse a little.

Anyway, Toms has serious issues with GPUBoss and HWCompare and that sort of thing, we worked hard about 3 years ago to get rid of all reference to those sites as people were getting horrible recommendations.

So far, I've had no problems with them. Does anyone feedback info from Tom's? eg anyone talked to the guys at videocardbenchmark? Or gpu boss or anandtech?

I've talked to the guys at videocard benchmark and they say they point out to take their results with a grain of salt -t ehy use synthetic testing and results within 10% can actually be the same. I realise this and factor it in when I refer to them. I also do the same for gpu boss, anand and everyone else. Measurement error is such that you cannot really separate within 10%.

I hope you do the same.

I gonna to use this card for 3ds max and gaming.
I found that GTX 750 TI is based on a new architecture named "Maxwell"
I'm wondering if there is any incompatibility about this gpu with 3ds max and VRay, as it's new.
Do you have any idea?
