[SOLVED] gtx 650 ti boost edition in todays world

so basically ive been wanting a gpu for a while and my cous gave me a zotac gtx 650 ti boost edition ... how good is this card? is it good enough to run modern games with a stable and decent fps?is there anything big i should know abt this card? pardon me for being a bit nooby, first time installing a gpu..
specs are:
intel pentium g2030 @3.00ghz
8 gb ddr3 ram
samsung fxwga monitor (it has only vga port , there comes another problem)
gigabyte h61ms motherboard
450 watt iball zps 290 psu

It's comparable to AMD's Radeon Vega 11 igpu, or in-between an RX 550 and 560.
Great 720p performer. 1080p, not so much.

That's a fire hazard waiting to happen. That is not a true 450w power supply; it's a 132w advertised as one.
That doesn't even meet the 350w manufacturer recommendation.
Get a new psu, or you may have a bad time...

Modern AAA games? I doubt it would work well at all or it might not even run them. I would expect it is missing modern features used by modern games. Also your cpu is far to weak for modern AAA games regardless of gpu choice. You need to manage expectations of what you can run.

games like fifa 19, gta V,league, etc etc.... talking abt expectations ive been playing games for years without a gpu... so something is better than nothing :/

ive booted the pc once with the gpu installed without connecting the monitor..it worked alright then... u sure abt this??? its a bit terrifying to read this

I'm just telling it like it is.

Just 11A on the +12v rail. Power(watts) = Amps x voltage(12)
11 x 12 = 132w, far below the recommended 350w, and this isn't even taking into account the quality of the psu.

You just powered it on one time... okay? Besides, you're not putting a real load on it just by booting it up. Just wait unit you try to play a game - actually, don't do that.
