I have been checking on multiple websites, one particularly caught my eye: http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=1149&gid2=797&compare=geforce-gtx-650-1gb-vs-radeon-hd-7750-1gb-gddr5 It basically says that they are almost equal, the 650 being 3% proportionally better. I've also found that the 650 is about 1/3 cheaper on local websites (ebay, amazon, etc.), so has got me wondering: which one is better from experience, and is it better to get the 650 since it is that much cheaper (going performance to value)?

Performance is roughly the same (depending on what games you benchmark, either card can look slightly better than the other), as long as you're comparing GDDR5 versions. There are cheaper ones with (G)DDR3, and their performance is inferior.

Normally, the GDDR5 7750 is cheaper than the GDDR5 GTX 650.

This is usually a good place to help decide http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Sapphire-Radeon-HD-7750-vs-EVGA-GeForce-GTX-650, for the most part its really up to what you prefer amd or nvidia, if you have no preference, go with whatever is cheaper. If you can I would say try to get a higher tier card, because the 7750 is border line gaming, its barely considered a gaming card.

GPU boss is useless, its data and comparison methodology is seriously flawed.

I agree the comparisons are worthless, but having all the specs in the same place is helpful, thats all its good for.

They are almost equal, the gtx 650 gives a little bit more performance than hd 7750.But the gtx 650 is more expensive than hd 7750, i would choose the hd 7750. Good luck !

I already solved this. I got the 650 for £60 brand new instead of the 7750 which would have been £80
