my setup so far is

Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 Socket 1155 Motherboard
750watt psu

any help would be appreciated and would i be able to run on high settings with this setup.

A GTX 660 is better but it is not worth the extra money. The games you mentioned will be supported by either of the two cards.
They can run at high at 1080p on both cards.

Yeah GTX660 without a doubt. Model numbers are misleading there - they suggest a minor difference. You are infact looking at about 50% more performance. It's like comparing a GTX560 to a GTX580 - huge difference.

gtx 660 man without any questions...A 650ti wouldnt do it for me

While the 650 ti SSC is overclocked(quite a good overclock as well), it does not catch up to the GTX 660.

IF that difference is worth it to YOU is another story. I would end up going for it to be honest, you seem to have the power for it.

And I say this as a 650 ti owner :)

I wouldn't pay too much attention to hwcompare.com.

"Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit."

All the ROPs, MHz and GB/s don't count for a thing next to real-world performance. Frames per second will do a much better job of telling you the differences.

True i agree with you and most to the op most people including me would say get the gtx 660 i think thats your better option then going for the 650ti

Please do not ever link to hwcompare again. EVER.

That aside, the 660 is stronger. Take a look at this from the performance review of Black Ops 2, FROM THIS SITE!

As you can see there is a sizable difference in that game, and that will hold true for most games out. Maybe not as much in some games, but the 660 is stronger, no doubt.
