GTX 660 2GB GDDR5 or Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 (either OC edition or without) for 1920x1080 res. gaming?
Hi there,
I will soon (in 1-2 months) be building my first gaming PC and have narrowed down the specs to-
Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 Motherboard
AMD FX 6300
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)
Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Transparent Side Panel Mid Tower Cabinet
I already have DVD-ROM and 1TB HDD. I currently have 18.5: monitor at 1366x768. I want move up and go for 1920x1080 res gaming. And I have been researching about it and found that for normal PC viewing distance (around 3ft), 22"-24" monitor offer better quality for this res. and GPU with 2GB VRAM are necessary for this res. But, my main question is, should I go with Nvidia or AMD cards that I have in the subject? I noticed that the gtx card has 192-bit bus while AMD has 256-bit. Will this effect in the long run? I look forward to using these cards for at least 2-3years. Please help!
Thanks!
