I'm planning to upgrade my pc, however, I don't have much money to spare. I was thinking to buy a GTX 660 but I don't know if it's compatible with a GA-EP45-DS3P.

I assume that a C2Q like the Q9650 would also run on your motherboard. Can be found at e-Bay for some dollars.
With the G4560 and the new motherboard you would also need to by new RAM that is quite costly at the moment...would not recommend this.

Already the 8500 with a little OC should be ok with the 660. Do not know how demanding GTA is in terms of CPU and right now too little time to search for a review.

Well, I have a 720p monitor so the 1050ti is overkill for my pc, that's why I'm headed for something like the gtx 660. I was actually thinking about the gtx 1050 non-ti but I don't know if I should get it since my motherboard can't support a better processor to work with so my choices are kinda limited.

660 you should be able to get for a pocket money already. Still have an MSI GTX 660 as an emergency backup, that manages to run BF3 with medium graphics quality. Thus a good GPU. You are right to say that 1050 and above might be overdosed. Therefore go for the 660.

What CPU are you currently running? I guess there also some cheap tweaking might be possible. ;)

It's a dual core e8500. I think I'll have my motherboard changed, getting a g4560 and then buy the gtx 660. But I'm not sure if all this is worth it. Can I play at least, GTA V on medium with these parts? Talking about 720p.
