Hello everyone!
I am brand new to this site and I guess I am an "amateur" at all this computer stuff. So i am having a bit of a heating problem with my GPU. I recently bought the EVGA GTX-660 Superclocked edition and the temperatures raise quite rapidly during gaming. The highest I've seen it is 80C. And believe me I've done TONS of research on GPU temps and where the "safe" point temp is. And I know every card is different. I'd rather take it safe and be around 70C MAX if possible. But before i bought the GTX660 SC I had the Radeon R7-250 2gb. the highest I've seen that card's temp was 69C playing dead island riptide. Right now i have a fan curve going in MSI afterburner for my GTX660 SC. I have my computer side panels off. i have an external mini fan pointed on the graphics card. i have stock fans in my computer case. i believe 1 consuming air in the front and an exhaust fan in the back. there is also 1 consuming fan at the bottom of my PSU. my computer is off the carpet floor on a mini wooden table. and with all that said, I still saw my temps rise today to 80C in the game Orion: Dino Horde. I am desperate to lower my temps. I've tried so much, so anyone who could help me would be GREATLY appreciated. thank you all and here are my computer specs:

And also, i haven't really tried lowering core voltage, core clock, etc in MSI Afterburner because I'm not to familiar with doing that. I read that lowering core voltage could lower heat but could cause crashes. thank you again and i love you all.
