Nvidia Gtx 660 OEm on Gigabyte G41-mts2p Motherboard...is this compatible?or will it bottleneck?my Processor is C2Q Q6600 And I have 4x2 1333mhz RAms...C2Q is running At 1333Mhz fsb 3Ghz..(overclocked from 2.4Ghz to 3Ghz)

Solution
The motherboard has PCI-E 2.0 but the video card is backwards compatible on it. Any performance impact of using a PCI-E 3.0 video card on a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot should be slight.
You can use MSI afterburner.

The Vram is clocked stupidly low as standard, and these cards are mostly vram starved, so you can easyly get +500Mhz on the Vram.

On the GPU clock, it depends on how locked down the bios is. I tweeked the bios on mine to unlock it, but some people are uncomfortable with that.

I would see how you get on using afterburner first, see if it allows you to raise the power target.

The stock clock is around 850mhz, You should be able to hit 1000-1100mhz on the stock cooler no problem - I managed to get around 1350 using a corsair H55 AIO liquid cooler.

No problem. Not many people are aware of these cards, they are actually really good once the potential is unlocked. You may not know, but they use the better GK104 chip like the 660 ti/760 etc, rather than the lower end gk106 like the retail 660.

The stock unigine Valley score was around 1270, with some overclocking you can easily get into the 1400-1500 on the stock cooler.

Can you say limits for overclocking a gtx 460 1gb without any difficulties?i tried to overclock it with precision.but sometimes games crash..I was afraid and i removed precision..and also i couldnt up its power target.it seems locked
