Hello,

I'm gonna get a new GPU in like 2 weeks.
I still have a old cpu right now (athlon x3 2,3ghz), I'm gonna get a phenom ii x4 965 in about 6 weeks and i will overclock it with the aftermarket cooling i have now.

So which gpu will be the best to get for my system?
GTX 660 TI or HD 7950?

Thanks in advance!

Both are good cards, you can't go wrong with neither of the two, nvidia has better drivers and features, the amd has the "amd never settle" promotion with two games free(crysis 3 and bioshock infinite), so you might consider it, if you plan to buy those games.

Can you send me a link to the amd never settle promotion?

Thanks

Both cards are good deals you may even consider a 7870 LE, it does use as much power as a 7950 but I've see it go for around $240, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131484&Tpk=7870%20le

Also "nvidia has better drivers" is a bit subjective I've used products from and I have had more issues with nvidia. That being said the 660ti does have PhyX so if you plan to use a game that has PhyX you may want to lean towards nvidia for that.
