Hello everyone.

I have a GTX 660 TI and I'm using an old monitor that only has a VGA connection. I'm using an DVI-I to VGA adapter that looks exactly like this one to connect the monitor to my graphics card.
Now, I want to get a triple-monitor setup using 3 of these monitors and would like to know if I can use that same adapter to connect one of the monitors and use surround.
If it's not possible to use that adapter, would I need to buy an Displayport to hdmi adapter?

So to get surround to work I would need to buy an active displayport to hdmi adapter, like this one?

Sorry I misunderstood at first. I thought you were going to try and use a VGA only monitor in surround mode.

The monitors you linked can all be used with DVI cables. So you would use 2 DVI ports and 1 Display port on your video card. The display port will need one of these:

Then each monitor would have a DVI cable connected to it, with one of those going into the adapter and then into your video card's display port

The problem is the card has a DVI-D and a DVI-I output. But the monitors input is DVI-D. So I can only connect from DVI-D to DVI-D and not DVI-I to DVI-D.
