gtx 660 to gtx 960 and now my pc is rebooting

Hello!
So I upgraded from gtx 660 to a gtx 960 and now my pc is rebooting on some games.

1. world of tanks after like 10 min pc reboots and then i go in to bios and put fail safe defaults and it works again.
2.and some games like cod bo3 and dirt rally i can play for hours and my pc reboots maybe once.

my gtx 960 works in other pc.

then i put my gtx 660 back in and it works with no problem.

PC spec.

psu: corsair cx 750m ( 4 months old)
cpu: amd fx 4300
gpu- gtx960 asus strix
motherboard: gigabyte ga 78lmt s2p
ram: 8gb

cpu temp- 50c
gpu temp 58c
motherboard temp 50c

Ignore my previous reply,can u use your 960 on another system?Mostly a bad psu makes restarts during gameplay,but its not really possible as 960 being less energy hungry than 660.

ups miss click... well i did that sent the gpu back to where i bought and it was ok.. so i have no idea what to do now .. thats why im asking for help on this forum

make sure u dont have virus to blame, so do make sure you've got up-to-date antivirus software, but because it tends to happen while you're playing a game, I'm going to guess it's one of two likely hardware problems: your power supply unit (PSU) isn't supplying enough juice or your CPU is overheating.

If the CPU gets too toasty, your PC will shut down to save itself. To help diagnose, I recommend downloading HWmonitor or Core Temp.

It's also possible that you have a failing PSU, You could attempt to diagnose it with a digital multimeter or power supply tester.
