gtx 660 vs r9 270x

Please help!?!? I really can't decide which one I want to get, I'm going to be building my new gaming PC and I really want a nice graphics card that isn't too expensive so I found these two, but I can't pick one!!! Which one is better?

I can speak from personal experience that the r9 270x (Asus) is a great card. The 660 isn't bad either (a friend of mine has one), but it isn't quite as good.

Ok and another question, what is the difference between the 270 and 270x? Is it wourth getting the 270x?

The r9 270 has slightly lower clock speeds than the 270x. I suggest buying the Asus version. It is the highest clocked 270 and comes extremely close to the r9 270x. So close, in fact, that the difference in performance is nominal. If you wanted to, you could Overclock it above the 270x within a few minutes.
