GTX 660ti 3GB?

Is the 3GB worth it over the regular GTX 660ti 2GB versions? Its like $20 difference. And is the 3GB version comparable to the 7950? Or will it still be inferior because of the 192 limited bus width? I only play on 1 monitor at 1080p 1920x1080 resolution. I have had a 6870 for about 4 years now, and i really wanted my next GPU to be nvidia so i can get a real grasp for both companies.

no just because it has more ram it doesnt mean mean the gpu will take advantage of it so if you want to get the 660ti get a regular one

Okay and if i wanted to play heavily modded Skyrim with HD textures etc, will the extra ram be taken advantage of? Or at this point should i just go with a 7950? Thats the only reason im opting for a 3GB GPU.
