GTX 660TI with Q6600?

Will this setup work with a OC Q6600 3.00GHz with OC DDR3 RAM 7-7-7-18

Should be just fine. There might be some slight bottlenecks on some CPU-heavy games, but nothing deal-breaking. Higher OC would also help. If i were you i would go for it

A friend of mine had the Q6600 and tested many GPU's with it to see which GPU will be best match for it.
He said to me that anything more than GTX 560 is likely to produce bottlenecks, even if the Q6600 is overclocked.

A friend of mine had the Q6600 and tested many GPU's with it to see which GPU will be best match for it.
He said to me that anything more than GTX 560 is likely to produce bottlenecks, even if the Q6600 is overclocked.

Like i said before, bottlenecks will occur, but not to the point that the GTX 660Ti will not give significant improvement over the gaming performance. Even if the GTX 660Ti is to be bottlenecked, the performance would still be better than, say, a 560.

Like i said before, bottlenecks will occur, but not to the point that the GTX 660Ti will not give significant improvement over the gaming performance. Even if the GTX 660Ti is to be bottlenecked, you would still get a better performance than, say, a 560.
