GTX 670 Factory OC and i5 4670 motherboard

Hi all,
I was wondering if the H87M Pro was compatible with a 720 W p4-A720 psu, GTX 670 factory OC and an i5 4670 non-k cpu.

The cpu and mobo are both lga1150 so you shouldn't have any issue there.
The GPU is PCIe so will work also.
I don't see why you would have any issues with this build.

Personally I think 720W is a bit too much, newer systems use up less power than you would think.
I would think that 500W to 600W would be more than enough.
Since the PSU is a vital part of the build and it could "leave you hanging" in many ways, try to get as "reliable" brand as possible.
You could check out one of Tom's latest PSU Charts and reviews for good options.
I personally have a 500W Cooler Master Silent Pro a few years now and it has earned it's keep.

All new PSUs should have provisions for everything you need.
To be on the safe side have a look at the specifications of any PSU you are thinking about getting.

I already own the psu (p4-a720 somethng or other). I'm not sure if its new or not because my dad built it.

If you already own it and it works OK then there is no need to change it yet.
If it covers all your hardware needs keep it until it dies and then go for the upgrade.
