GTX 670 SLI or AMD 7970 Crossfire

So i need a new graphics card and dont know what to choose would like some help please

I'm looking at these 2 cards in SLI or Crosssfire what would be best ?

1. MSI GeForce GTX 670 Power Edition OC 2GB. SLI x2 ?

I would go for the 7970 its faster has more bandwidth and free games. Furthermore the AMD Gaming Evolved campaign is taking off with a fury!

You have got pretty hard decision to make there bud. But I will say that the Vapor-X wins this round due to the performance you will be getting out of them. I haven't had any issues with crossfire like I did with my first SLI setup a month ago. So, price wise they are the same and I think the best bet would be to go with the Vapor-X due to the vRAM and bandwith and games that AMD is including in their bundle. I hope this helps. Cheers!

I have no idea why people supposedly into overclocking/gaming vote HD 7970 over GTX 670. First of all, the MSI Power Edition OC can outbeat a 680 when overclocked, the power usage is far lower than the 7970--which is incredibly important with SLI/Crossfire--and the MSI has far superior temps on test, too. Honestly, and I hate overexagerating, but I find it literally shocking that anyone would suggest a 7970--let alone Crossfire! Now, if we are talking the Ghz edition, that does outshine the 670; it's more like a 680. I can pick that MSI card (which I own) for £260/£270 while the 7970 is in the £300s. So many reasons to pick the MSI. Just look for overclocking/benchmarks on the MSI, OP. If you're gonna dual up, the MSI is FAR cooler, and the 3Ghz that helps the 7970 is negilable with SLI. Just think, when the 7970s overheat (which they will), you'll have less overclocking potential and possible throttling. People really underestimate temps on cards.
