Gtx 670 tempertures too high?

Hello I have had my galaxy gtx 670 4GB version for 2 weeks now. I haven't monitored temperatures much but today I tried with kombuster. I have not overclocked my card. Within five minutes the temperatures get to 82C. This is too high at stock level right? I also ran heavenbenchmark for 15 minutes and the temperature was 78C.

Kombuster stresses cards to way more than any normal usage(gaming, etc.) would do, use Heaven or 3DMark.

78C is ok but not great, my 7950 load during gaming is around 65-70C.

Try improving airflow or putting a fan to blow on the GPU, clear up your cable routing, etc...

You could also try setting a custom fan profile in afterburner to improve those temps. On normal/stock fan settings, my 6870's will hit in the high 80's, but after I set a custom profile, they never reach 70c even under full load.

Those Stress Tests are Very Intensive, Which usually Uses the Most out of the Card.
Hence the Temps go Very High.

But you'll never Reach the Same Temps as in Kombustor when playing Any Game.

Kombustor and Other Benchmark Softwares are used to check whether you have a stable Overclock or not. So, Don't use them until you start Overclocking.

Looks perfectly fine. If you look at the link above, then you'll see that it's nothing to worry about. The thermal temperature is 97.4 celcius so there is a long way to go before you should worry.
