Try newegg, for the price of the 670 on tiget you can get a 7970 Ghz, or that saffire for 380.

7970 overclocked (or ghz) with current drivers beats the 670 in most benches, and even the 680, you can't look at year old benchmarks.

Notice the recent Titan article? Compared Titan, 690, 680, and 7970. 670 wasn't even in there.

At comparable prices, you will get comparable performance.
Do not sweat minor differences.

For benchmarks, use google to find benchmarks using your cpu, games, and resolution.

And... benchmarks may still not tell all.
There is a growing interest in consistency of response times. Or lag as some call it.
It is an annoyance that is not detected on the average or even minimum fps statistics.

As to the amount of vram, I am thinking it is mostly marketing.
