I put together a mini ITX build:

i5-4590
asrock h97m-itx/ac
gskill sniper 8gb 1600mhz
WD BLACK SERIES 1TB 64MB
Nvida GTX 680

I had a gtx 660 for this build originally but picked up an evga gtx 680 superclock signature 2 from a local for 150 bucks. I figured it would be a good buy for that price point. My target is to maintain around 60fps around 1080p with this card at high to ultra settings. Is it possible? I was also wondering if $150 for the 680 was a good deal?

Solution
Yeah 150$ is decent for a 680.

Your expectations are a bit high considering how demanding some of the new games are, but if you are reasonable with the settings you can hit 60fps at 1080p no problem, just not totally maxed out.

Also its very easy to clock it to GTX 770 speeds and settings with most cards.

This is the sort of performance you can expect stock 680 and overclocked to 770 speeds:

Yea I understand all games are not going to be maxed since they are all optimized differently. As long as I can hit 60fps and it looks somewhat good as or better than a console I'm good with that. I threw this build together as a gift for my lil bro since he was rocking a q6700 @ 3.4ghz with a gtx 660 so I would just like to see an improvement from what he had.

Yeah will be a good boost from that. If you have the budget I would change the drive to a Seagate hybrid as the system will boot faster and be more snappy in windows. Better yet a SSD if possible.
