GTX 680 getting worse performance than my old GTX 550 ti.

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my GTX 550ti to the GTX 680.
I thought I would be getting better performance and all, but it seems
that i'm getting worse performance on games that my 550ti could play with ease.
Any suggestions?

700W Power supply

Yeah I have the latest drivers from the nvidia website.

don't over clock right now. lets look at the problem and try and fix it before you screw something up.

maybe your motherboard has the problem on it..
i think your card is powerful to handle by your mobo, i mean. your motherboard
can't supply enought V to your card as a result it ddnt functioning well..
or try to contact the dealer, maybe theres a mulfunction in the card.
