Hey,
I bought a 690 a few days back installed it using latest drivers , but it's only accessing one half of the gpu, I can confirm this using gpuz it's says that sli is disabled.

I have looked in nvidia control settings and the option for turning sli is not there at all.

I think this could be down to mobo issue has I am running a mitx build on a h61 board
Cpu is i3 4170
8gb ddr3
650w antec.

Any ideas

Sorry I have one gtx 690 generic.
And a asrock h81mitx board

So I have one gpu core working , is it worth overclocking bios unlocking, or sell and buy a gtx 680 4gb or upgrade to a z91 board
Cheers
I thought they may be a way with hypersli just to unlock both cores

Wrong and wrong...

SLI means Scalable Link Interface, and GTX690 have this installed on the card
to link the 2 internal GPU`s. It have nothing to do with only 2 cards either...

As far as software goes, 1 GTX690 should be recognized as 2 GPU`s in SLI.
So OP`s question is a SLI question.

So since the SLI chip in installed directly on the graphics card, it does not need
a motherboard that supports SLI.
