GTX 750 issues.

My rig:
i5 4460 @ 3.2GHz
8 gb RAM
GTX 750 gigabyte

My gtx 750 is normal and not the overclocked version.
This rig is expected to play games at medium to low at 40fps at 1080p, I have seen a guy on youtube with a weaker cpu and the same gpu play gta V on 1080p at medium to low settings. I on the contrary can't even play Cities Skylines at low settings at 30fps
Is there anything wrong or something I am missing out. I also have latest drivers installed.

Check both your GPU and CPU temps when gaming, you may be overheating.

Thanks for answering, I just realized that I had not connected the monitor with the HDMI from the GPU but a VGA cable from the motherboard. My bad! I connected the HMDI from the GPU and I now run Far Cry 4 at 1080p/High/~30fps!
