Hi guys so I am going to build a budget PC for gaming and wanted to know which graphics card will be better a Gtx 750 ti with 1Gb of gddr5 or r7 360 with 2gb of gddr5. I know that the 750ti is a bit better than the r7 360 but will the less memory affect anything
Both of the graphics card are from msi and overclocked and are of the same price. Here are the links :
R7 360 : https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/R7-360-2GD5-OC.html#hero-overview
GTX 750 Ti : https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/N750-Ti-1GD5OC.html#hero-overview
Please Help
Thanks In Advance

750Ti is technically higher up than the R7 360 (although the more powerful 260X is on the same level as the 750). However, the 1GB VRAM on the 750Ti is going to be a big limiter. Also, the 750Ti is going to lag behind newer cards on its architecture.

Another alternative would be one of the 75W GTX 950 models. IIRC, they're like many of the GTX 750Ti models & don't require a separate PCIe power connection. It makes them ideal as an upgrade for systems with lower-end or non-modular PSUs. Plus, they have double the VRAM & a newer architecture.

This hierarchy is outdated in newer games R7 260x gain enough to be on GTX 750TI level in DX 11
In Witcher 3 http://pclab.pl/art63116-10.html R7 260X is faster and in DX12 is better in all games

Anyway wait few days and take new RX 460 *(TDP 75W) depends to game faster by 20-30% compared to R7 260x *(TDP 110)

Bottom end Dx support
GTX 750Ti DX12 (11.1) * Total war Warhamer DX 12 0 FPS
R7 260X DX 12 (12.0) * Total war Warhamer 1080P Ultra DX 12 24 FPS

It takes some work to find a 750 Ti with only 1 GB of RAM, on Newegg, out of over 100 results for a 750 Ti search, only 5 of them show up as 1 GB cards. Why not get a 2 GB 750 Ti? Can't be that much more cost over a 1GB card. Or even better a GTX 950, there are so many discounts and rebates for the 950 that it is very close in cost to a 750 Ti. This one is $110 after a rebate, very good price for a 950, and same as a 750 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487158&cm_re=950-_-14-487-158-_-Product

Actually I Live in KSA and there are not many catd available here so i have to choose between these two cards and I am pretty that the rx 460 will be availape after 2-3 months. So I guess I should go with the 2gb r7 360 right ?

The 750 Ti is a bit faster, but not by that much, you can pick either one of them, get whatever is cheaper. With a slower system you won't be running on very high settings anyway so the RAM on the card won't matter that much.
