Hi, if I stand still in most games my fps goes from 60 to 40(Not an exact number for every game but about a 10-20 fps drop and then raises up) every few seconds, it's pretty much instant drop and raise. I have a GTX 750 TI with an Intel Pentium CPU G860 @ 3.00 GHz, and 12 gb of ram. I know the CPU is pretty bad and I'm upgrading to an i3, are there some sort of recommended settings for the Nvidia control panel? someone also told me that maybe the clocks aren't staying at a solid number and maybe lowering, I have a 500 watt power supply which I think is sufficient, any help would be great thanks. Also, in MSI Afterburner my Power Limit is 100% and the Temp Limit is 80. also my gpu temp never goes above 55 so that's not the problem. I have latest drivers

Your CPU could be overheating and throttling itself to keep the temperatures cool. Could you run HWMonitor or CoreTemp to monitor the CPU temperatures under load/idle? Also, get CPU-Z to monitor your CPU frequency to see if it's jumping around.

Edit: What games do you play? Details and monitor resolution?

1920x1080 Res, The CPU isn't overheating because I've been watching the temperatures and they stay around 40-50

You are not the only one with the same problem my mate has this same problem with his 750ti, he thinks its the Video RAM because he can't be having this problem with a mid-range i5 Haswell!! I would just check your CPU isn't doing anything demanding in the background and that your GPU isn't overheating or try OC and see what that does!

GPU definetly isn't overheating, max it reaches is 55.

Sorry for the delayed answer, can you download CPU-Z and watch your CPU frequency to check if it's not jumping up and down? A power saving feature could be messing around with the clock speed causing those drops. And also to mention like you already know, that CPU isn't a very powerful one xD
